We need to be preparing for the second and third waves, revving up testing and contact tracing to, as quickly as possible, prevent it from spreading out of control.

When it comes to COVID-19, Lynn Goldman sees the big picture. Unsurprising, really, given her years in government (former assistant administrator for the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention at the US Environmental Protection Agency) and academia (Dean of the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University), not to mention her career as a pediatrician and environmental epidemiologist.

In this episode, Lynn tells Mike how her GWU faculty and students are concentrating their efforts on protecting the health of the public and stresses the importance of increased testing and vaccine development in combating this crisis.
