Take an up-close look at the works featured in Shaping American Identity: The Art of the US Department of the Treasury. The historic pieces on loan from the U.S. Department of the Treasury's collection, many of them rarely displayed, helped define a shared visual language for the United States.
Led by curator Jason Vaughan, this talk traces how these bills, coins, posters, and paintings turned ideals into images seen across the nation.
