David Trulio

David Trulio leads the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream in its next exciting chapter of reach and impact.
He joined MI with extensive cross-sector experience. Most recently, Trulio was President and CEO of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, based in Simi Valley, CA, with a leading policy institute in Washington. Earlier, he was Managing Editor, Head of Strategy and Editorial Operations, at FOX News Digital.
At the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Trulio served as SVP for the Program on China and Transformational Exports. In the Pentagon, he was Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary for Policy, was Executive Director of the Defense Policy Board, and performed the duties of PDASD for International Security Affairs.
Earlier, Trulio was a VP at Lockheed Martin International, held multiple roles at Raytheon, and served at the White House and Pentagon under President George W. Bush. He and his family reside in Northern Virginia.
