Upward Mobility: According to Princeton researchers, even the children of immigrants from the poorest quarter of the U.S. end up in the middle class.
Accountability = Progress: Current studies around educational improvements since the 1990s suggest that increased accountability and funding lead to progress. One study in Texas found that once these changes were implemented students were more likely to graduate from both high school and college and even earn more by 25.
Entrepreneurship: A new survey of small business owners suggests that fewer Americans believe the American Dream includes buying a house or a car. Instead, 86% say that their business is an important part of their American Dream.
