Students at Babson College's Butler Institute for Free Enterprise Through Entrepreneurship hosted a spring symposium, Capitalism and the Role of Government in a Time of Economic Relief.

Kerry led an opening discussion with Jill Shah, president of the Shah Family Foundation and American Dream Advisory Council member, entitled "Using Philanthropy to Launch Bold Experiments in Public Economics.” The focus of their conversation was the Foundation’s Universal Basic Income pilot in Chelsea, MA — a remarkable example of how private philanthropy can be used to quickly implement an effective program with proven results.
